Konsoll is delighted to welcome Jake Elliott from Cardboard Computer to the Konsoll speaker list.
Jake makes videogames, noise music & artware. When it comes to videogames, he’s known for making nonviolent, slow-paced, narrative games and has been doing so since early 2010. He is currently working with Tamas Kemenczy and Ben Babbitt on Kentucky Route Zero, a magical realist adventure game about a secret highway in the caves beneath Kentucky. Kentucky Route Zero has garnered huge success, such as the Game Developers Choice Award for ‘Best Narrative’ (2015), Killscreen’s ‘Game Of The Year award’ (2014), and Rock Paper Shotgun’s ‘Game Of The Year’ (2013), amongst others.
We cannot wait to hear more about what Jake has to say about writing and interactive text design. We also highly recommend checking out his talks from Amaze 2015 and GDC 2013.
