We are so pleased to welcome our next Konsoll Connect speaker, Siobhan McDonnell!
Siobhan McDonnell heads up the interactive wing of Singer Studios; the multi award winning studio founded by Eloise Singer, that specialise in transmedia storytelling across film, podcasts, documentary and VR.
Siobhan is currently producing The Pirate Queen: A Forgotten Legend starring Lucy Liu for Meta Quest, which won the Storyscapes Award at Tribeca Film Festival in 2023 and is set for release in early 2024. Siobhan also produced Mrs Benz, a VR game that was nominated for a Golden Lion at Venice International Film Festival Immersive Section in 2022 and selected as a ‘Spotlight Project’ for SXSW 2023.
Siobhan won a SXSW Innovation Award for a previous interactive AR game, Time Investigators, in 2023. Previously she worked at Warner Bros Studios on features films and at multiple broadcasters on documentaries, and was selected in 2019 for Creative England’s Industry Equals programme as one of ten emerging UK producers to watch. She is a Story Futures alum and holds postgraduate degrees in Immersive Storytelling and Visual Anthropology.
