Adding voiceover to a game can often seem way out of scope, or get brushed off as more work than it's worth. In this workshop we'll tackle everything about adding voice over to a game from start to finish from the perspective of an audio person. Some audience participation is required so consider warming up those vocal chords!

Even Mehl Amundsen is a concept artist with long experience from the industry, including work at Blizzard. In this workshop, Even will explain how he works and what tricks he uses to find inspiration. The workshop will focus on idea-making and quick drawing of concepts that will challenge the participants. All participants are asked to bring either a PC, Mac, iPad or sketchbook.

Everyone's got a good idea for a game and coming up with blue sky concepts can be great fun. In this workshop we explore rapid idea generation, establishing design pillars and concept evolution through collaboration, effective communication and adaptability.

NFI (Norwegian Film Institute), Kulturrådet (Arts Council Norway), Innovation Norway, SkatteFUNN, and Viken Filmsenter will be presenting their grants and offering other related information. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what applications are available, application processes, and what is important when applying for national funding.
