We’re pleased to announce that Konsoll 2017 will be held at Grieghallen!Located in downtown Bergen, this concert hall was completed and 1978 and is named after Bergen’s famous classical composer, Edvard Grieg. It is home to the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, and is used for ballets, operas and of course, conferences. You’ll see a life-sized statue of the 5 foot tall (1.52m) Edvard Grieg outside the hall, and the building itself is shaped like a grand piano – something you can see from above if you happen to take a trip up Mount Fløyen.Grieghallen is located centrally, just next to the City Park (Byparken) and is within walking distance of the bus station, train station, and local city buses and trams. Many hotels are also within easy walking distance, including Citybox hotel – right across the street – and the brand new Hotel Ørnen. We’ll be making further announcements about speakers and tickets in the coming days, so stay tuned.
